Conventional on-board chargers for automobile battery (car 12V, truck 24V) power supply are widely used in various portable and handheld lithium battery charging fields, such as digital products, communication products, PDA, GPS, etc. Vehicle charging should consider the actual demand of lithium battery charging (constant voltage CV, constant current CC, overvoltage protection OVP). At the same time, the bad environment (transient peak voltage, system switching noise interference, EMI) of the vehicle battery should be taken into account. Therefore, the power management IC selected for the vehicle charging scheme must simultaneously meet the requirements of high voltage, high efficiency, high reliability and low frequency switching power supply chips (conducive to the design of EMI). | |||
